About -

Actors of all scales seek to position themselves as part of a collaborative transformation process towards a more equal, diverse and inclusive society. In response to the climate emergency, economic instabilities and the current health crisis, they seek new ways of thinking and acting. Uta Leconte is a cultural scientist who supports actors at the intersection of cultural, economic and political fields in their endeavor to define and communicate their positions and goals. As facilitator and mediator, she helps enhance the visibility of individual actors and collaboration across fields and groups. She holds a doctoral degree in Architecture and Cultural Theory from the Technical University of Munich and a master's degree in German Literature Studies, Theatre Studies and Comparative Studies from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, Munich. Drawing from her academic work, her professional experience in publishing and communications and a network that enables project-based partnerships, she moves between disciplines and cultures, connects different topics and people and helps implement new knowledge and practices. Passionate about the practical field but nevertheless fond of cultural theory, she named her consultancy after Roland Barthes’ essay, which she reads as a call for the synergy of different working fields and cultures in an ongoing exchange of ideas, encounters and collaboration:
